About MTCIC

Providing compassionate, professional mental health support to individuals, families and communities across Suffolk.

Our story

Rooted in Suffolk.
Grown from care.

MTCIC was founded on a simple, stubborn belief: everyone deserves access to compassionate mental health support — not just those who can most easily reach it. We saw people in our own communities waiting too long, or slipping through gaps between services, and we set out to build something different.

As a Community Interest Company, we're not driven by profit. Every session we deliver, every workshop we run and every programme we offer is designed to improve mental health across Suffolk — and any surplus is reinvested back into the work.

We work with individuals, families, schools and organisations from Bury St Edmunds to the wider county, creating a safe, considered environment where people feel genuinely listened to and understood. Whatever brings you here, you'll be met with warmth, honesty and the time you need.

Our mission

Accessible, compassionate care for everyone.

To provide accessible, compassionate, confidential and professional mental health support to every person who needs it — regardless of background, means or circumstance. We meet people where they are and walk with them from there.

Our vision

Healthier communities, together.

To help build healthier communities across Suffolk where everyone has access to quality mental health support — where reaching out feels natural, and where care is something a whole community rallies around, not something people navigate alone.

Our values

The principles that guide every session.

Compassion

We meet every person with warmth, empathy and genuine care — because feeling understood is where healing begins.
